For those who are looking for things to do this beautiful, warm weekend, the Ottawa International Children’s Festival is running until May 14 and The Canadian Tulip Festival is in full bloom and the Ottawa Comicon is underway.

Ottawa Folk Festival continued their sneak peeks this week.Neutral Milk Hotel, Serena Ryder and The War on Drugs who will be headliners and local acts announced include Pony Girl, The Noisy Locomotive, High Waters,  Jill Zmud, Made Noon and Saturnfly. The full lineup will be announced this coming week.

Early bird tickets for the aVibe Music Festival are now on sale at Broadhead Brewing Company Ltd. and Beyond the Pale Brewing Company.

For Blues fans who like to travel a short distance from Ottawa,  Calabogie Blues and Ribfest announced their lineup, which includes Paul DesLauriers Band, The 24th Street Wailers, Kelly Richey Band, Anthony Gomes, Dawn Tyler Watson & The Ben Racine Band, Charlie A’Court, Angel Forrest, Raoul & the Big Time, Jerome Godboo and Wicket Grin.
